Wow an interesting comp……

With a lot of our Floor and Vault gymnasts dropping out and our old ladies in General Squad injured we were beginning to wonder if RGC were going to make it !

After rearranging pairs and some hard work with only a couple of sessions for some girls to learn and perfect a new floor routine we were ready……. Or were we ?

Lots of hair clips and bottles of glitter spray later, our girls certainly sparkled

1^st round 10 and Under age group….

Well Floor and Vault girls were fab, a tough competition as some of the girls were competing for the first time….. Megan and Megan our General Squad girls brought home the Bronze Medal……….

More of our Floor and Vault Squad, Some new moves, with Carly’s Handspring Vault - well done to you ! General Squad’s Amy and Vanessa showed us all what they’re made of with a fantastic floor routine and parents later commented on how lovely it was….. So lovely you came home with a Silver Medal !

Last but not least Round 4

Our last Floor and Vault pair. Open Age Group More new moves…. I can honestly say I have never seen such a miss matched pair….. Mia and Lauren. However they worked so hard to achieve a floor routine in such a short space of time. Mia where did that handspring come from ??? New move for you, well done ! And to top your day off you both brought home a Silver Medal too.

Finally our General Squad girls 14 and Under, Lucy and Hester. Vaults I was told were fantastic and your floor was the best I’ve seen you do. And another Silver Medal for RGC. Abi and Lauren well plagued by injury over the last few weeks, what more can I say lovely floor, good solid vaults and a Gold Medal !

All in all a fab day with some very happy and proud coaches……….
