Club Grades, 22nd March 2009. Newcastle.

Well, WOW! What else can I say? I couldn’t be prouder of every gymnast at the competition; you were all amazing. What a day Redcar had, with 26 top places in eleven categories. I can’t mention everyone on here, but you were all amazing. We had fantastic performances from Hannah Peggs, Jessica Lacson, Hollie Dunn, Shannon Thompson, Macy Cheetham and Naomi Hunt; all of you passed with distinction. 60+ marks each.

We got Gold medals, Silver medals, and Bronze team medals galore. Everyone made the top ten and most were in the top six picking up well deserved 4th – 6th place ribbons.

Special Awards went to gymnasts who manage a 12.50 or above on conditioning set, or 13.00 or above on pieces, and these went to Hannah Peggs for conditioning , Jessica Lacson for conditioning, Shannon Thompson for vault, Alice Briggs with a 13.30 for vault,  Hollie Dunn for conditioning and Vanessa Barwick for vault.

Well done to everyone; what a very, very proud head coach I am. You are fabulous, girls, thanks to your coaches for their hard work and nagging, and thanks to Hannah & family for the Champagne, it was lovely.
