Fundraising for Redcar Gym Club
Redcar Gym Club is a wholly voluntary sports club. We aim to keep our fees and membership rates as low as possible to enable more people to experience gymnastics. In order to help with this we must do as much fund raising as possible. There are loads of ways you can help to support our work, some of which will cost you absolutely nothing, and this page shows a few of them.
Buy At shop
Redcar Gym Club has a Buy At shop on the internet. Buy at has loads of popular on line retailers such as Amazon, Game, Mothercare, M and S, Play.com, Haven, Sky and Woolworths. If you visit any of the shops by using this link and make a purchase, the club gets a commission whilst you pay exactly the same (but you must go via the buy at link). The link on the right takes you to our buy at shop.

Money4Clothes
We are signed up with Money 4 Clothes. Next time you have a clear out, please send us any unwanted clothes, shoes, handbags, belts and underwear, in any condition. We can supply black bags if required, then bring them back into the gym once full. We get paid 40p per kilogramme. The only things we cannot take are quilts and bric-a-brac.

Buy a Brick
We are trying to raise enough money to build a new gymnastics centre in Redcar adjacent to Rye Hills Specialist Sports College. As part of this project we have a buy a brick appeal. Bricks start at only £2. See the link on the right for more information.

SPORTSAssist
Sports Assist is a group of professionals who came together under the Sports Assist banner to give back to clubs a proportion of their profits in return for any business supplied by the club or our supporters. There are a range of insurance, financial and legal services available. When you use any of these services, someone somewhere earns a profit, so why not let our gym club share in some of it. Enquiry forms and information are available from Dawn Flood in the gym or directly from SPORTSAssist by following the link on the right. |

As well as the fundraising options shown above, we hold a number of bag packs, raffles and tombolas each year. Gifts of prizes are always welcome for the latter. We also hold a sponsored walk each summer and a number of social events for gymnasts and parents, all of which can help club funds. If you have any suggestions for additional ways we can boost our fundraising, please speak to any coach or club volunteer.
